The course is available Monday, Thursday or Friday 10am - 1pm or 2pm - 5pm.
You will start with health and safety Materials and tools. Barry will demonstrate the methods to do your first Mosaic. This will be 10” X 10” Mosaic, a House number or hot pot stand, to take home with you.
The Price is €20.50, which is approximately £15.
This includes all materials, tools and refreshments.
The course is available Tuesday or Thursday all year round 10am - 5.30pm.
Itinerary
10am - 10.45am ~ We will start with the basics of Mosaics - History of Mosaics, Health and Safety, Materials and tools. Barry will demonstrate the methods to do your first Mosaic.
10.45am - 12.30pm ~ Start a small Mosaic such as a coaster a on board.
12.30pm - 1.30pm ~ Lunch, time to reflect and gather your inspiration.
1.30pm - 4.30pm ~ Start your second mosaic this will be a hot pot stand or a house number, this will be on gauze or an upside down mosaic.
4.30pm - 5.30pm ~ Grouting and finishing your mosaic and Barry will demonstrate Final Polishing Techniques and presented with your Mosaic Course Certificate.
The price is €35.50, which is approximately £25.50.
This includes all materials and tools, lunch, unlimited refreshments and 7 hours Tuition.
Mosaic Holiday courses are designed to work round your holiday in Sunny Cyprus. Itinerary is based on three days Monday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Friday.
Day 1
10am - 10.45am ~ We will start on the basics of Mosaics - History of Mosaics, Health and safety, Materials and tools. Barry will demonstrate the methods to do your first mosaic.
Day 2
10am - 12.30am & 1.30pm - 5.30pm ~ Your Personal Project - It is possible to Create a Small Table top - Picture and an art work measuring approx 30cm X 30cm during your stay. Finishing on Day 3.
Day 3
10am - 12.30pm & 1.30pm - 5.30pm ~ We will use the day for Mosaic Grouting and Grouting & Finishing Methods and Techniques.
The price is €127.75, which is approximately £95.
This includes all materials and tools, lunch, unlimited refreshments and 21 hours Tuition.
Friday Or Saturday Night
If you are still in Limassol on Friday or Saturday, a night out at the famous Harleys Bar with a free glass of wine and live music from KATRINA singing with her guitar.
Advanced courses are available for more experienced mosaic makers, Barry Jones runs advanced courses in stone, glass, pebble and 3-D mosaic making.
